3rd Annual Southern California 'Ukulele Festival, Cerritos, CA
It's October...time for the 'ukulele festival. T says it was the best ever!
I've been laying low with a tardy summer cold. It hit me hard in the throat, and my voice that had taken on a Lauren Bacall huskiness quickly deteriorated to a bad case of laryngitis. I had to cancel out on doing the opening chant. Thank goodness for T. He taught his guitar workshop, then substituted for me for the Hawaiian language workshop.
Darn! I missed out a great day with folks I love, lots of friends, and great Hawaiian music. This year I'll have to be content with seeing these pictures that T thoughtfully took for me -- and sharing them with you.
There's always next year...
